Rapper 50 Cent’s recent post on X, formerly known as Twitter, about former President Donald Trump has gone viral, bringing both those who agree with him — and those who don’t — out in the comment section.
50 Cent’s post comes as the former president works to win the November general election to return to the White House — even after he was found guilty on 34 felony counts.
50 Cent Comments on Trump’s Donations
50 Cent decided to share his own opinion on some recent Trump news on X in a post that very quickly went viral.
On X, 50 Cent reacted to the news that Trump’s presidential campaign seemingly has raised an incredible amount of money ever since Trump was found guilty of committing various felonies.
Raising $200 Million
According to the Trump campaign, the former president has already raised more than $200 million since his guilty verdicts have come in.
This revelation has caused many of Trump’s supporters to tout this feat. Others, however, have had much different opinions on the allegations of millions of dollars being donated in such a quick turnaround.
50 Cent’s Response
In response to this news, 50 Cent decided to make his own opinion known. The rapper took to X to share a screenshot of an article that had the headline: “BREAKING: Trump campaign has received over $200 million in total donations since the guilty verdict in New York.”
Attached to this post, 50 Cent wrote, “[The grinning squinting face emoji] SMH [shaking my head] don’t worry the world’s almost over just enjoy the moment and be happy.”
A Viral Comment
Almost immediately, this comment went viral. Both Trump supporters and Trump critics decided to comment on the rapper’s X post with their own opinions about the former president and his current situation.
Thanks to all of this post activity, 50 Cent’s original comment has now been viewed at least 408,000 times.
Trump Supporters Applaud the Former President
Many of the comments in 50 Cent’s post were in support of the former president. Various people claimed that these recent guilty convictions wouldn’t hurt Trump, especially as he appears to be raising so much money.
One user commented on the post, “Trump’s laughin’ straight to the bank.”
Pushing for Trump 2024
Other Trump supporters in the comments pushed for the rapper to fully throw his support behind Trump’s 2024 presidential race — something that 50 Cent hasn’t yet done, even though he has previously claimed that he thinks Trump is going to win.
“When are you gonna officially endorse Trump? Save your country bro!” One user commented to the rapper.
Critics of Trump Flood Replies
However, Trump supporters weren’t alone in 50 Cent’s replies section. Many of Trump’s critics on X also took the time to respond to the original post — and to some of the Trump supporters in the comments section.
“Those same people won’t donate to the poor,” one person claimed in response to the money Trump’s campaign has raised.
The End of the World?
Others decided to voice their negative opinion of the former president by also talking about 50 Cent’s comment about how the world is soon going to end.
One person even posted, “Jesus coming back would be a real blessing.”
50 Cent’s Other Trump Posts
This isn’t the first time 50 Cent has decided to comment on Trump while on X. Earlier this year in March, the rapper claimed that he thought the former president would soon win the presidential election yet again. He also brought up his claim that the world would soon end in this post, as well.
“The world’s almost over,” the rapper posted. “So what are we worried about… I think Trumps gonna be president again, but I’m not gonna say that.”
Trump’s Guilty Conviction
All of this viral activity comes only days after Trump was found guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. These felonies were in connection to the hush money payments that Stormy Daniels received before the 2016 presidential election.
Though Trump has been found guilty, the former president has long denied all claims and has insisted that he is completely innocent. His campaign has even stated that he is now a “political prisoner.”
Money Is Flowing Into Trump’s Campaign
Since these convictions, Trump’s campaign has said that they’ve seen a massive amount of money flow into their campaign.
Eric Trump, the former president’s son, has also claimed that more than $70 million of these donations are from small-donor fundraising.
