An independent watchdog agency published findings of a two-year-long probe that found the Social Security Administration (SSA)  has failed to properly notify some poor and disabled Americans before charging them exorbitant fines. These excessive social security penalties on Americans reached as much as $100,000 in some cases. Cook’s comments allegedly defrauded shareholders because they concealed a projected falling demand for iPhones in China. A measure has just been passed among California voters that will restructure California’s Mental Health Services Act to provide billions of dollars for treatment centers focused on addressing chronic homelessness. A new survey asked over 200 climate and environmental scientists their opinions on reducing meat and dairy production to combat global warming.  An overwhelming three-quarters of respondents said that reducing livestock production would have a “large or very large” contribution towards reducing emissions.
