The National Weather Service has warned Southern California that a new brutal heat wave will encompass much of the region for the next week.

Over several days, Californians will face sweltering temperatures and excessive heat warnings. This weather forecast has already worried many about potential wildfires popping up. As a result, fire officials in the state have explained that they remain on alert.

An Ongoing Heat Wave

Weather experts have explained that temperatures may cool slightly once the weekend hits. However, this doesn’t mean that temperatures will drop as many may want them to.
